Reading to Answer Questions

Look in your book bag or backpack right now and count the number of highlighters you find there. If you're like many students, you probably have a yellow one, a pink one, and a green or blue one.

You may also find that you spend a considerable amount of time in the classroom or studying highlighting important information. Guess what; all the information is important!

This program will introduce you to some new strategies for reading that will improve your retention and understanding of text-based materials. The goal is to learn to read critically, an essential skill for college success.
